Founded in 2002 by naturalist Sue Godding, GODDING&GODDING has evolved from a small, family run silk farm – specializing in fine silk linen and silk products – to an international company, well known and respected for its original silk and fragrances of Africa, luxurious skin care products, the finest bedding and bed clothes – and gifts for those who enjoy a truly sophisticated lifestyle. Long before the natural wellness movement became popular, GODDING&GODDING was wholeheartedly embracing the riches of the natural world, introducing skin care products made with pure silk and African plant essences. We are dedicated to creating products and gifts that transform the ordinary rituals of daily life into extraordinary pleasurable experiences.

We employ a number of local ladies who have been trained specifically in the skills of silk production. Most of our staff have been with us since the beginning and are extremely proud of the wonderful products they produce.
Our Factory
Situated in the heart of the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Reserve, 24 Degrees South Country Estate is home to GODDING&GODDING. Located just outside the small frontier town of Hoedspruit, close to the Blyde River Canyon and a stone’s throw away from the Kruger National Park, our factory is surrounded by nature. Daily we are inspired by the natural African botanicals in the area ... from the fynbos and aloe rich mountains to the lowveld with its plentiful marula and baobab trees.
